ANOTHER ROE TO HOE - IMPLICATIONS OF SUPREME COURT CASE ON ABORTION AND RELIGIOUS FREEDOM

"Evil peddles tolerance until it is dominant, then seeks to silence good" This axiom has been the model for both the Marxist and Islamic Worldviews if you trace their history.  In this short but important article, Marvin Olasky, Editor-in-chief of WORLD Magazine, points to the implications of the Marriage cases before the Supreme Court.  He makes the case that this has implications on Roe vs. Wade.  He also points out that the case has major long term implications on Religious Freedom. While young Evangelicals argue that the debate over same-sex marriage is divisive.  Olasky points out that the long term goal of Progressive advocates will march right past SSM and create a culture where speaking against this or anything else will be hate speech.  Their long term goal... by, by churches.

Marvin is the son of Russian-Jewish emigrants.  He became an atheist as a adolescent, converted to Marxism in college, and was a member of the Communist Party USA.  In 1976 he converted to Christianity and has been used significantly in many roles.  His land mark book The Tragedy of American Compassion has been a beacon in conservative thinking.  He initially was influential on JW Bush and the idea of compassionate conservativeism but later distanced himself from where Bush ended up going with this issue.
